For Bar-B-Cutie Smokehouse’s 75th anniversary in Nashville, CB Designs partnered with the team to turn a milestone celebration into a full visual experience that honored the brand’s history and loyal guests. Here is how the collaboration came together from first call to final clean up.
01 | Consultation
Planning started with a focused 20 minute strategy call with Bar-B-Cutie’s leadership. They shared the story of the restaurant’s legacy, their goals for the anniversary, and how they wanted the event to feel for regulars, staff, and partners. We talked through colors that matched the brand, how to highlight the existing signage and interiors, and key spaces that needed impact, like the entry, dessert station, and photo area.
02 | Custom Proposal & Design Plan
After the call, CB Designs drafted a customized design plan that blended smokehouse comfort with polished, celebratory details. Within five business days, the team delivered a proposal outlining the color palette, container styles, and decor concepts for key focal areas. The plan included ideas for a welcoming display near the Bar-B-Cutie sign, modern table accents that elevated the dining space without feeling out of place, and a photo-ready backdrop featuring a custom balloon install to anchor social media moments.
03 | Production & Installation
Once the concept was approved, production began. CB Designs sourced decor elements that echoed Bar-B-Cutie’s rich tones and warm, nostalgic atmosphere. Each piece was prepared in studio, then carefully packed and transported on event day. On site, the team styled the entry, dining spaces, dessert display, and photo corner, making sure every element complemented the existing branding instead of competing with it. The custom balloon install served as the central visual anchor, tying the entire look together.
04 | Event Day Execution
During the celebration, CB Designs handled all decor logistics so the Bar-B-Cutie team could focus on guests. Installations were completed before doors opened, touch ups were made as needed throughout the event, and breakdown happened quietly after the final photos were taken. The result was a 75th anniversary that felt like Bar-B-Cutie at its best: familiar, welcoming, and elevated just enough to mark a once-in-a-generation moment, with the custom balloon install anchoring the atmosphere.
